Create an Event Location

The Create Event Location screen lets you define a venue and build its seat map as a grid of rows and columns, assigning a seat class and status to seats.

Before you start

• Define your seat classes first so you can assign them to seats.
• Access: Admin, Producer, Distributor.

How to create an event location

1. Open Events → Event Location → Create.
2. Enter the Venue / Location name.
3. Set the number of Rows and Columns to generate the grid.
4. Assign a Seat Class and Status to seats (Available, Reserved, Selected, Unavailable).
5. Use Add seat to row to extend a row where needed.
6. Save the location.


Seat statuses

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Open for sale |
| Reserved | Held / not sellable |
| Selected | Currently chosen |
| Unavailable | Not part of the layout |
